"Smart" Watches

I tried a smartwatch for two days now and can safely say it is the first instance of technology I hate with a passion. Whereas before my smartphone was a means to an end, a way of quickly addressing things that come up, the smartwatch is an incessantly pestering device offering no resolution as I still need to go to my phone... It is a frustrating device that nags for my attention - making me feel like I am enslaved to a device that will not give me a moment of uninterrupted peace. My wrist buzzes with every new thing that happens in the world. I've tweaked it to only the most important notifications... but still the result is a tethering to the connected world. I don't own my own attention anymore. Suffice it to say: smartwatch for sale, great condition, barely used.

Smart Leash

I tried a smartwatch for two days now and can safely say it is the first instance of technology I completely dislike. Whereas my smartphone is a means to an end, and offers quick ways to address notifications that come up, the smartwatch is an incessantly pestering device that gives me no ability to take action as I still need to go to my phone or a computer to do so. It's all notifications without gratification. Maybe one day this will change, but then it'll just be a smaller smartphone worn on your wrist. Right now it's a device that nags for my attention - making me feel like I serve it, rather than it serve me. All that being said: smartwatch for sale, great condition, barely used.
